Dr Joe Lee graduated from the National University of Singapore's Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and subsequently completed his urology residency training. He obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MRCS) and was elected Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS) in the specialty of Urology.
Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Lee holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS), and currently serves as President of the Society for Men's Health, Singapore (2025–2027).
What sets Dr Lee apart from other urologists in the AHS group — and indeed across Singapore's public healthcare system — is his formal Andrology Fellowship. This sub-specialty training covers the full scope of male reproductive medicine: microsurgical sperm retrieval (TESE and PESA), male infertility evaluation and treatment, penile prosthetic surgery, and hormonal management. Few urologists in Singapore have undergone this additional training.
In his practice, Dr Lee regularly receives referrals from general practitioners and other specialists for cases where standard treatments have not succeeded, or where surgical expertise is required. He performs penile implant surgery (3–4 private cases per year), artificial urinary sphincter (AUS) implantation, and microsurgical procedures for male infertility — including cases arising from prostate cancer treatment side-effects.
Dr Lee also maintains a strong presence on social media through his TikTok account @drjollyurology, where he explains complex urological and andrological conditions in clear, accessible language — a commitment to patient education that he carries into every consultation.
